AW14 Haul / PRIMARK, BOOTS, M&S, DEBENHAMS.

YAY, my very first haul is finally here!! So today I did a little bit of shopping with my mum and picked up quite a few things, so thought I'd share them with you. And let me just say I went a tad crazy in Primark and am fully stocked up for the AW ha! Well, we best get started...

I

GlamGlow Super-Mud Clearing Treatment. I've been wanting this for ages and had put it into my shopping basket online so many times but could never go through with it because of its hefty price tag. But when I was in M&S i came across the beauty section where they were launching the Glam Glow range, and had this cute little set on offer for £30! It includes a smaller size of the Youth Mud exfoliating mask too, I cant wait to try these out!

Boots! Nothing too exciting just a few essentials I needed!

Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel. I always buy these when they are on 3 for 2 at Boots because they do this offer all the time, so I might as well stock up! £3.59 each ( I think?)

Bourjois Ultra Black Clubbing Liner. My fave liquid eyeliner at the moment and I used my other one within an inch of its life! £6.99
Oh and i also got some blonde kirby grips 'cos where do they go??

Now time for the crazy Primark-ness! So... I bought 5 dresses! Yes 5!!

How amazing are all these dresses!! And guess what, they were all £13 each!! Now you know why I had to buy them all. And they are really good quality and feel as if they will last for ages rather than just one season. All the dresses bought were either a size 6 or 8. Can you tell I have a thing for tartan and swing dresses haha!?! I cant wait to wear them all hehe.

I also purchased a few accessories. I've been loving my black bowler hat recently so wanted to try out this seasons hottest fedora style and for £7 you cant go wrong. The brim is a leather effect and has a little chain around it. I also got some little black ballet flats just for work which were a mere £6. Gosh I love Primark prices!

Ponyskin Leopard print waist belt. £2.50.

I always stock up on pretty patterned tights every Autumn from Primark These ones were £2.50 each. And you cant leave Primark this time of year without some more fluffy socks, they're just so cosy!! £2.

Finally, my mum treated me to a couple of jewelry pieces from Debenhams.

These hair clips are from the 'Floozie' collection and were discounted by 70% to £3. They're so sparkly and I always were hair clips so these are a nice glitzy option.

I'm really into the statement necklaces at the moment and when I saw this rose gold one I  couldn't resist. Even more so when I saw the matching earrings too! The necklace was £16 and the earrings were £10 but both had 20% off :)

Well that's it for my splurge! Let me know what you've been buying recently!

Until next time

My Moving Out Experience-Part 1

So today I come to you with more of a lifestyle post. My guess is its going to be quite a long one, but I hope some of you will enjoy this more personal style of post, and can help some of you who have recently/are about to move house. Lets start at the beginning. Summer 2013. My boyfriend and I had always talked about buying our own home together and it was something I had imagined for ages but I didn't think it was something we would be able to do in the near future. As it happens, we both landed our dream jobs and started within a month of each other which obviously we were ecstatic about, and it brought up a conversation which made me very happy. We were out walking the dog one day and my boyfriend mentioned that he had been thinking about us buying house together and thought that we should start saving up just a little bit each month. I was soo excited that he had been thinking about this too!! So from my next wage I put away a little into my savings with a little smile on my face (yay house fund!) Fast forward a\ month, we were walking the dog again ( this seems to be the most apt time for our conversations haha) and an idea was put forward to me. 'Ive been thinking about us moving in with my parents so we can save up more for our house and we will definitely have enough to buy next summer.' My boyfriend was living in a rented house with his friend, and we knew that one day we might have to move out for a month or so, during the transition to our house together, but didn't think it would be this soon. The truth was we really wanted to buy our own place asap and just weren't saving enough while still paying rent. We realised that it would be hard to move in parents and have some of our freedom somewhat taken away, and also felt bad for his friend as he would either have to find a new housemate or move out as well. My boyfriend chatted it over with his friend and luckily he understood where we were coming from, so 6 weeks later it was time to go back to the parents!! I was so upset to leave that house it held so many memories :(

By the beginning of 2014 we had been living with my boyfriends parents for about 4 months. Everything was going really well and we were managing to save up quite a bit each month. Even though we weren't looking to buy just yet, I had always been looking at house literally for about the past year, just to see what was out there. One morning my boyfriend had gone to work and I was just casually checking on Right Move on my phone, when I saw a house pop up that I hadn't seen before. I actually did a double look at it as I didn't expect it to be there. As I clicked on the details I looked through the pictures and thought oooh that's a nice one, read all the details and realised we would be able to afford it now, it seemed too good to be true. This got me excited. I rang my dad up and told him all about it and his advice was to go take a look, just to start the process off as people usually see all sorts of houses until they find the right one for them. So I text my boyfriend it and he said we should book and appointment. It was so scary ringing the estate agents, it all seemed a bit surreal, but the only day they could do was in a weeks time. That week was sooo long!! By the time we went to view it we had built our hopes up so much, I really hoped I wasn't going to be let down. The morning arrived and I had so much adrenaline running through me, full of excitement and apprehension I couldn't eat! We pulled up to the house and greeted the estate agent and he put the key in.

We loved it!!!!It was everything we had hoped and more! As we left we knew that we wanted to put in an offer, and we did so later on that same day. When putting in an offer on a house they now ask to see all your financial details and mortgage agreements to check you could actually afford the house, so we hot footed it over the mortgage advisers'. A day passed and we had not yet heard back from the agents, then on my way to work I got a call to say our offer had been rejected, so I knew we really wanted the house and knew what we were prepared to pay, so came back with a 2nd offer. Another day and a half passed, my nails were now all bitten down. Then I got a text at work from my boyfriend to say 'our offer on the house has been accepted!' I was so thrilled and just wanted to get things done as quickly as possible.

Lets just say it wasn't a quick process. Apparently buying a house is one of the most stressful things you will ever do in life is buy a house- I TOTALLY AGREE! Throughout the next 4 months which it took for our house to complete I was an utter mess of emotions. Some really down days thinking it was never going to complete, and other really excited going shopping for more home ware bits and pieces. Our sale was a mortgage repossession, but apparently not a straight forward one which meant that there were lots of complications along the way, delaying the process by a couple of weeks each time. I think the solicitors and agents must of been sick to death of us, as we were ringing up 2 or 3 times a week just to keep on at them! We were going on holiday in the middle of May and were told several times ohh yehh it will definitely be done for then. It wasn't. We decided not to let it affect our holiday and just go away and chill out for a week. Half way through our holiday, I got the best call of my life.

'We've had a meeting this morning and we can go ahead and complete on your house next week' HALLLEELLUUUJJJAAHHHHH!!! I don't think there had ever been a bigger smile on my face!

I hope I haven't bored you on too much but writing this I realised how much there actually is to chat about!! Further parts will be up in due course.

I'd love to hear about your experiences

Until next time

The Lip Product Addict Tag

Hey guys, so recently on youtube I've been enjoying watching 'The Lip Product Addict Tag' and thought I would do my own version of it here on my blog. Not much else I can say really apart from lets get started!

1. Favourite lipbalm/treatment
Carmex Mint Lipbalm. I had to choose good ol' Carmex since I've been a fan of it since I was a teen. I love this for the fact your lips really feel hydrated once you apply it, yet it doesn't leave a slippery residue on your lips like some other balms of a similar consistency do. I can apply this directly before applying my lipstick and it helps hide any dry patches. I also prefer the tube formula as you don't have to go poking your fingers around in there (eww yucky germs!) PLUS, it has SPF15 in there too, BONUS!

2. Best Eye Catching Red
Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipstick in Red Fever. A true classic cherry red colour at its best from Rimmel. If you want a lipstick that says 'Baamm!' when you put it on then this is definitely a colour for you. The staying power of this lipstick is brilliant from the high street, it only needs a little touching up in the middle of your lips after eating. The only downside to this one is its a little drying due to its matte formula, however with the lipbalm on before this doesn't seem to bother me:)

3.Best Luxury and Best Drugstore
Luxury-Ysl Rouge Volupte(shade 11?) How could I not pick a Ysl, I mean just look at the packaging, its gold and shiny and really heavy!! Plus I absolutely adore the peachy coral colour. These lipsticks are soo soo pigmented and really creamy.
Drugstore- L'oreal Made For Me Intense Blondes Color Riche No. 290. This isn't a colour I wear everyday at the moment, but I love it in the winter as a berry lip. Again mainly for its longevity. This is the perfect purple, not a reddy purple, or a pinky purple, just pure deep purple!!       (how any times have I said purple ha!)

4. Best Mac Lipstick
Mac Creamsheen in Creme Cup/ Mac Matte in Candy Yum Yum. OK so cheated, but I just I couldn't choose between the two of these. Creme Cup is my perfect nude. I always get so many compliments on this colour and it's one I know I can throw on and I will look nice and polished. I also love Candy Yum Yum again because everyone always asks what the colour is, and it's a real statement lip that can jazz up any look. I feel really glamorous and made up when I wear it.

5. Most Disappointing
Mac Glaze in Hue. This might be quite a surprise to some of you as this is such a classic favourite of a lot of people. I actually like the formula of this as it glides on so effortlessly, but the colour just does nothing for me. I keep trying it in the hope I will someday figure out how to pull it off but I just can't. Guess I'm just not a nude gal!

6. Liner- Yes or No? -No. I only have 3 lip liners, Yes 3!!! A pink, a neutral and a red. I know I should probably get into them more but I just haven't got enough shades to go with my lipsticks at the moment, so I usually skip this step.

7. Best Lipgloss
Mac Dazzleglass in Sugarrimmed. Look at it! Just look at the beautifulness that is pink and sparkly eee!! As soon as I saw this in the store I had to have it! It goes over so many different colours due to it's subtle pink colour and adds a touch of glamour with it's soft shimmers. I wouldn't say it's a full on glitter look, it just makes your lips look slightly sparkly. The formula is quite thick and gooey, but I don't mind this at all in lip glosses.

8. Something Extra
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Audacious. This is my something extra since it's a product I've found myself reaching for lately. A really bright summer orange matte shade, this is a great orange which won't brake the bank either. To say this is a matte formula, I find this doesn't dry out my lips in the slightest and has great staying power. I'm definitely going to try out more shades from the range.

Well thats it for my Tag but I'd love to see yours!

Until next time
