This week I'm loving...Pinterest

Evening bloggersphere, so today I thought I'd just share with you a little something I've been loving recently. And that thing is Pinterest! Now I know I'm probably a little late onto the band wagon but I cant get enough of it! For anyone who doesn't know (yeh right?!?) Pinterest is basically like an online pinboard where you can 'pin' basically any image you can find on the internet onto different boards which you create. The boards you create are upto you, be it hair, quotes, animals anything!! You can then share your boards, view other peoples, like their pins and even add them onto your own board! I'm not too sure what evens makes it so good, but trust me once you get started you WILL be addicted!! If you haven't yet checked it out- you should definitely give it a go. Here are a few things I have recently pinned

Well that was just a little something I thought I would share with you,

Happy pinning

Until next time,

Fit On Friday

Hey guys, this is the start of a new series I am going to be starting for 2014. Every Friday I am going to do a 'Fit on Friday' segment where I am going to be letting you all know about my progress with how I am getting on with my fitness journey, lifestyle and diet tips and tricks and just a place where we can generally have a little chit chat about how to be healthy but happy at the same time! So in December I thought that it was about time I got back into a good exercising routine ( I hadn't been to the gym properly in 18 months!!! :0) and started to try eat a little healthier. I didn't want to go on any sort of crash diet, or drastically loose weight, I just wanted a healthier lifestyle which I could maintain. I started off by choosing the healthier option, so for lunch I would take salad and grapes, over a sandwich and crisps. I started to notice the difference and almost immediately I began to feel trimmer. Then Christmas came and everything went out of the window, well you've got to let your hair down its only Christmas once a year! But then come the turn of the new year I decided to take things a step further. Currently I have a 'cheat' day every 5 days, this means eating whatever I want on this day, but for the rest, eating 3 healthy meals  a day. Within this I have cut out sugary drinks and only drinking water during the daytime and juice on an evening, and have limited the amount of carbs I eat, and its amazing how different i feel. I'm not bloated, I feel more awake during the day, I don't get sugar highs and then lows and its easier to get up in the morning! Plus I have started to do my own exercises at home about 3 evenings a week! So far so good!!
Well that's just a little introduction to the series, next week I'll share some more with you.
I'd love to know if you're trying to be healthier in 2014 and what you're doing??

Until next time

January 2014 Product Empties

Hi all and Happy New Year!! Since hitting the new year I've found myself trying to use up alot of my beauty products and toiletries, in order to make way for all of the new products which are currently making their way onto the shelves. So without further ado, lets get stuck in!...

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush. Let me just say that I absolutely love this stuff its perfect for helping your hair to go an extra day before washing it. I like to get mine in the large 400ml size and it costs around £4.99 from boots but thy usually have various offers meaning you can get it for cheaper. And to say how long I have had this for it really is worth what little pennies it costs. Having blonde hair I don't find that this leaves an unwanted white residue in my hair (it actual helps sometimes to cover up any darker roots!) The light floral scent the Blush version has is my favourite as well, as it isn't over powering yet leaves your hair smelling freshly washed :)

Vita Liberata Rich Silken Chocolate Tinted Self Tan Gel in Medium. I already wrote a previous post on this tan raving about how much I loved it which you can find here. Unfortunately I ran out of this tan whilst in the middle of applying it one time and had to improvise for the rest of my body haha!!

Bourjois Beauty'Full Volume Mascara in Beauty'Full Black. There seems to be a common theme appearing here in that all these products are also some of my favourites this month! And this mascara is no exception. People always comment on my eyelashes asking 'Are those your own eyelashes?' and its all thanks to this bad boy! It has a huuge brush which means it coats all of your lashes and plumps them up 10x, the formula is nice and thin even at the end of the tube but not too runny so it rubs off everywhere. It just really is a fab mascara that I've repurchased about 4 times now!

Beauty Blender. Now I know mine looks all dirty and disgusting but its just stained I promise you its clean! Although I did buy mine in a pack of two so have decided its about time I through this one out and open my fresh new one (exciting!!) This really is one beauty tool that has changed my life this year no exaggeration lol! It gives your foundation a flawless finish and makes any foundation look like a second skin.

Eyelure Pre-Glued Lashes in 070.  I bought these eyelashes for my works Christmas party as I wanted some lashes that would be quick and easy to apply and fail safe. There's not much to say other than they do the job when you're in a rush but still want to look glamorous.

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15. This concealer really is the bomb! Its long lasting and full coverage meaning that it hides those dark circles for hours on end without smudging or creeping into any fine lines and wrinkles. After coming home from a hard days work I find that my dark circles are still hidden just as well as when I first applied this concealer and no-one is any the wiser!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir. And finally a skincare empty from Caudalie. I first purchased a smaller size of this back at the start of the summer and wasn't too sure on the hype around it at first. But after giving it another try I found that it was helping my skin to not have as many breakouts which I think must be the Rose which is in it. I now spritz this all over my face morning and night before my moisturiser and although it is expensive ( £32 from SpaceNK) i think its well worth it!

So that's the products I've been working my way through this month, I'd love to know which products you've been using up lately- I'm nosey like that!

Until next time
