Jumping On the Bandwagon | St Tropez Bronzing Mousse

Blogmas Day 3

So this is me jumping on the bandwagon with the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse. As a fake tan user for a good 7 years I've tried my fair few of self tanners, so it may come as a surprise for you to hear that I have only just recently tried this tan. I had received a voucher for Marks and Spencers so headed straight towards the beauty section, and to my surprise they had a whole section of different St. Tropez products. I've heard everyone rave on about how good this mousse was so thought I may as well give it a go. I was a bit wary of how deep the colour would be since I'd heard most people prefer the darker version. At first I did agree and didn't think the colour was too dark, however by morning it had developed into a lovely golden colour.

I applied my mousse with a St. Tropez mitt which I think together make a great team. The mousse glides on with the mitt and it makes it very easy to buff in. I will say that over some areas (my legs and chest) I did apply two layers almost instantly and this gave me the best colour and I didn't feel sticky at all.

Please excuse the dirty-ness of my mitt, but lets face it, that's just real and what happens when you tan!

All in all I would recommend this tan to anyone. Its practically fool proof and you can get a deeper or a more natural tan. I do think I may try the darker in the summer though!

Let me know you're experiences with this tan.

Top Picks for Winter Lips

Blogmas Day 2

Recently I've been loving lipstick so much I think it maybe my favourite makeup item! This being said I thought I would share with you some of my favourites I have been loving recently.
For each lipstick I have taken a photo of it on my lips in natural daylight and also a swatch of it on my hand.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Snob paired with Mac Hue.

This is my top pick for a nude lip and is perfect for pairing with a super dramatic smoky eye for parties.

Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipstick in 230 Red Fever.

This is the perfect classic red lip.You cant go wrong with a true red at Christmas.

Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss in 107

I think I speak for alot of us when I say this is the ultimate deep berry lip colour. Rich in colour and has great staying power.

L'oreal Made For Me Intense Blondes Colour Riche in 290 Plum Passion

A lovely plum lippie which is so on trend this winter. Pair with light eye makeup and dewy skin during the day for a flawless look.

Collection True Glossy in Crystal 32

Brown isn't a colour I have ever gone for before but I'm finding myself more drawn to these shades for the cooler months. This one from Collection is great for those just venturing into browns as its quite sheer and just gives your lips a subtle tint.

And this is the lovely aftermath of a lip swatch post!! haha!

Hope you enjoyed this post and you have found a few new lip products you might want to try out.

New Blog Design

Hey guys, so as you can probably see by viewing this post I have a spangly new blog design! yay! It was something that had been bothering me for a while as I wanted my blog to really be 'me.' I'd looked into all sorts of different styles, and how to create various themes, but I just couldn't get my head around it! So i drafted in some help from the lovely Steph over at BonjourBelleDesigns to help me put my thoughts into action. After viewing her site and speaking to her I knew she would be able to create exactly what I wanted. And a few drafts later, here we are! I cannot say thanks enough to Steph as I now feel my blog is looking all professional and just how I wanted it!

Hope you all enjoy the new design, make sure you check out all my pages and social media links!

p.s. here are a few images iv been enjoying recently jut so there's something for your viewing pleasure ha!
